Rugby League Ireland are pleased to reveal another key appointment to their backroom staff ahead of RLWC 2021.
Adam Bates comes onboard as Senior Men’s Team Manager having built up a wealth of experience.
Bates previously worked at Rochdale Hornets and has been a key figure in the development of Midlands team Sherwood Wolf Hunt.
Speaking of his appointment Adam said, “I’m really excited to take on this role with the Senior Men’s Team. It’s clearly an exciting time to get involved in International Rugby League with what’s going to be a fantastic tournament.
“I’ve worked with Ged before and know the standards he sets and demands of his players and backroom staff, and I’m looking forward to being an integral part of the team that delivers an excellent World Cup experience for the Ireland team.”
